A program of free distribution of new warm cloths and blankets for poor Hindu families was organized jointly by Dharmansh USA team in the auspicious month of Kartika when the entire nation in in festive mood.

The winter season in Uttar Pradesh has arrived bringing with itself helpless shiver for the most underprivileged section of our society. To fight against the odds of the winter season, poverty stricken society of Uttar Pradesh in the cold month of December, January and February seeks help from organizations like us.

In order to answer such call from our poor brethren, we undertook the endeavor of distributing among them some form of help that mitigates the consequences of a harsh winter made very harsh due to their financial vulnerabilities. Amongst our poor brethren of Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, India we distributed blankets for the elderly and sweaters for kids to help them fight through the difficult vagaries of the winter season.

On 23th of November , 2023, these cloths were distributed in villages situated on the bank of river Ganga in Farrukhabad, India.

There was a heavy rush of poor and needy people to get the blankets and warm cloths. On receiving the cloths, the kids had smile on face and feeling of gratitude in their hearts. Elderly people who received blankets shared their gratefulness for our efforts and also told us about the dire need of woolens they were facing due to arriving winter. Tears were noticed in the eyes of many volunteers seeing the pathetic condition of the poor.

A real grass root level work was, thus, undertaken in the last days of the year 2023. A feeling of real festivity was felt by all the members and volunteers who were involved in this program.
