From the first Islamic attack on Bharat by Bin Qasim in 712 AD to the era of Aurangzeb in 1707, Mewar had been the land of Hindu warriors who fought Islamic invaders for over thousand years, generations after generations and protected Dharma.
We encourage you to choose any of the kings of Mewar as the subject of your Essay for this competition. Here is a list of the Maharanas you can choose from for your writing (or you can choose any particular incident or person from the book ‘MAHARANAS-A THOUSAND YEAR WAR FOR DHARMA, who inspired you the most):
