This story came to us from the village of Burbud, Purba Bardhman district of Bengal where more than two hundred fifty tribal families needed immediate help in fighting cold.
About 250 distressed tribal families needed urgent help. As winter was setting in , these families, already burdened by poverty, faced the harsh challenge of surviving the freezing temperatures without adequate clothing.
Immediately, Dharmansh USA sent a team to the village and did a field assessment.
As a result , we identified and verified an immediate need to provide winter clothing to these vulnerable families to shield them from the biting cold and its associated health risks. Moreover, these unfortunate souls were also at a high risk of being exploited by the omnipresent NGOs and local antisocial gangs.
Dharmansh USA acted in a prompt manner and distributed blankets to all the families in need.
We sincerely thank all our donors for your generous support for this project, which brought warmth and relief to those sisters and brothers who need it most.
The impact of this project goes well beyond providing physical warmth. It symbolizes our compassion and solidarity with the downtrodden.
Simultaneously, they have also been saved from exploitation. Team Dharmansh USA extends a heartfelt gratitude to all our donors and supporters without whom we could not have been able to be of any assistance to these stressed families.
Let’s join hands and give our fellow Hindus, living on the edge, a sense of security and dignity.
Jai Sriram!
